Welcome to Discovering Manchester! My name is Natalie Durkin, I'm a 19-year- old student doing Broadcast Journalism.

I'm passionate about sharing stories, experiences and creating online content. I love to travel, try new foods, different activities and explore new destinations!

My aim for this Blog is to share my experiences exploring unique and fun spots around Manchester, giving my thoughts and recommendations as I speak to those involved and get stuck in too.

I love going to new cafes (as I love coffee) and new restaurants and bars!

I aim to inspire individuals to explore new locations in Manchester, whether they choose to travel alone or with a group, covering anything from science to art, cuisine, and film.

This blog covers unique and interesting places to try in Greater Manchester. From weird and wonderful restaurants to bizarre and quirky cafes, I will be trying put these unconventional spots to see and review my experience!
